INVITATION FOR BID The City of Fairfield will accept Bids for Sludge Removal and Disposal on two (2) aerobic lagoons, approximately 2.3 acres each of water sludge mix. Bidders to make their own determination in their bid of gallonage. Interested parties will submit bids based on liquid gallons removed and transported. The City of Fairfield may provide the waste disposal location and/or you may bid for removal, transportation and delivery to an alternate approved site not furnished by the City of Fairfield. The lagoons, Walnut Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, may be viewed Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Interested parties are urged to submit their bids as soon as possible as all bids will be opened at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at City Hall Council Chambers at 222 South Mount Street, Fairfield, Texas, 75840.
